SJFD Women's Boot Camp

The San José Fire Department is holding a FREE Women’s Boot Camp for women in the community who are interested in exploring a career in the fire service!

This boot camp is geared towards women in the San José area who are looking to make a positive change in their career.

This all-female staffed, judgement-free workout and information session will answer all the questions you never knew you had about women in the fire service.

The day will consist of a 90-minute circuit training workout, followed by SJFD’s female firefighters speaking to the group about their experience in the fire service, a Q&A session with the women of SJFD, and an opportunity to get “hands-on” experience with firefighting tools and equipment.

Open to ALL women 18 years of age or older,

this FREE event is limited to 50 participants.

Mandatory Registration will open on:

Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 12:00 PM.

Once all spots are filled, you will have the option to be placed on the waitlist and will be notified if space becomes available.

Water, coffee, and snacks will be provided.

Participants should wear comfortable athletic apparel and proper shoes.

IMPORTANT: On the day of the event, ALL participants will be REQUIRED to complete a Waiver of Liability Form and a Photo Release Form in order to participate in the day’s events.
