Description

The San Jose Area Writing Project is proud to once again host our Summer Open Professional Development for Educators. Each Summer Open Session is a four day event led by some of our premier teacher consultants and writing instruction experts. All programs will be offered for two units of credit at $150 per unit, for a total of $300. Participants can also elect to add a third unit by writing an “extra credit” paper and paying an additional $150 (for a total of $450). Please note that your "Free" Eventbrite ticket is for SJAWP's planning purposes only. Your official registration will take place during your program's initial session. Payment will be due approximately two weeks later, sent online to the SJSU Bursar's Office.

Aeriale Johnson has taught in districts across the United states from Florida to Alaska to California and has served at nearly every level of public education. “Professional educators need to question the world around them, but especially themselves. We cannot reflect on our practice without inner reflection. As an educator, I consider it a moral and ethical imperative.”
