Will my Sixth Street Showcase registration guarantee me admission to the SXSW Interactive Festival?
Sixth Street Showcase is an invitation only networking event hosted by the University of Texas System, registration for this event will not grant you admission into additional events within the SXSW Interactive Festival.
I found this event through the SXSW Website and/or I didn’t receive an invitation, can I still attend?
Of course! Registration is open to the public on a first come, first serve basis. Space is limited, so act fast!
I received an invitation via e-mail, do I still need to register or can I just show up?
To ensure an accurate count for catering, space, etc., we ask that all attendees register for the Sixth Street Showcase.
Do I need anything to check-in at the event?
Yes, please bring photo identification to present at registration table.
How do I attend SXSW Interactive Festival?
Passes are currently on sale at www.sxsw.com/attend
What’s the easiest way to get to the Sixth Street Showcase?
The easiest way to get to our event is by utilizing the Capital Metro Bus Service. Click here for more information on how to get around during SXSW Interactive.
Will there be parking available for attendees?
Parking will be available on a first come, first serve basis for invited guests. Information will be distributed accordingly.
Will walk-up registration be available?
Limited registration will be available on the day of the event for SXSW Badge Holders only.
I’m traveling to the Sixth Street Showcase from out of town, what are my lodging options?
Unfortunately, all of the official SXSW hotels are booked from March 6th – 12th. However, we recommend accommodations outside Austin’s city limits.
