Event description

Description

We have up to 4 one-to-one sessions with our tax expert for social enterprises, charities and community businesses looking to use Social Investment Tax Relief (SITR) to raise investment.

  • Do you have specific queries or issues about SITR unique to your organisation that are not already covered in the resources provided by GET SITR?
  • Would one-to-one time with Neil Pearson, Partner at Mills & Reeve and SITR Tax Expert, be helpful to help you move forward with your SITR plans?

These free sessions last 30-45 minutes each and are available on 26 September 2019 between 1.30pm and 5.00pm. They can be attended either in person at Mills & Reeve's office in central Birmingham or subject to arrangements over phone/Zoom.

HOW TO BOOK YOUR PLACE

Please note that before your place can be confirmed, we require the following:

  • A completed SITR Preliminary Questionnaire: this will need to be returned in advance of your session by email along with a copy of your constitution and the latest set of accounts
  • Your agreement that any learning (subject to any commercial sensitivity) as a result of the consultation can be shared as part of our SITR FAQs

This will help us better understand your situation and needs. After reviewing your paperwork, we will be in touch. If you have any questions about the surgeries or GET SITR, please email Luna at: ldizon@bigsocietycapital.com.

GET SITR is an awareness raising campaign delivered by Big Society Capital, Funded by DCMS and in association with a number of sector partners.
