Event description

Description

Join us for an evening of inspiration as we celebrate and support the Sisters' in our lives, at the Ninth Annual Sisters’ Night Out event, with information and resources to live healthier lives.

The event is planned in order to bring Sisters together to share educational information on breast health with a focus on emphasizing the importance of early detection, treatment, and the effects of Cancer on the Body, Mind, and Soul. Receiving a diagnosis of breast cancer can be one of the most distressing events women ever experience, and women may not know where to turn for help. We seek to provide information and resources to assist individuals facing a cancer related diagnosis, from a wholistic framework, focusing on the Body, Mind and Soul.

The evening will include exhibitors, refreshments, door prizes, cancer survivors and much, much more. Our presenters for the evening include Dr. Karianita Ojomo, Radiation Oncologist with Blue Ridge Cancer Care, Virginia O’Brien, MD, System Wide Director of Ambulatory Services Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine Carilion Clinic, and Lutheria Smith, Breast Cancer Survivor.

There is no charge to attend the event, however you must register for a ticket.
