Thank you so much for your donations. This is a tough time for many, and musicians are no exception. Heather offers a generous percentage of profit to her guest artists.

10% of your donations for October will go to Save Our Shores. From policy change to educational programs, they are ensuring ocean conservation throughout the community. Their programs and projects are designed to support the foundations of a thriving Monterey Bay: clean shores, healthy habitats, and living waters.

About Theresa "Te":

Te “Tee” Martin (they/them) is a community organizer, song-keeper, and friend of the earth. They live on Chochonyo Ohlone land in Oakland, California where they organize Thrive Street Choir and gather outside nightly to sing with neighbors. Te believes deeply in the power of song to build resilience and to inspire change. Te has sung on stilts with the Carnival de Resistance in Philadelphia, has trained American Conservatory Theater & San Francisco’s Circus Center, and is currently a member of Skywatchers Ensemble. Te is currently working on their first original musical album, to be released this summer.

About Shireen Amini:

Shireen Amini is a queer, Puerto Rican-Iranian, Earth-loving musician whose career as a singer-songwriter, performer, percussionist, teacher, and artist has spanned 15 years. With a BA in Ethnomusicology from UCLA and a certificate in Sound, Voice, and Music Healing from CIIS in San Francisco, Shireen has also come to believe strongly in music as a tool for personal and collective transformation. As a song leader, Shireen loves to share medicine songs with healing and empowering messaging, infectious grooves, and soulful melodies, often engaging her participants in rhythmic play and movement while singing. Shireen recently released a solo album entitled "Break Myself Free," a pop-rock record filled with energizing grooves, anthemic choruses, and uplifting stories of change. She also offers classes, events, coaching, and intentional songwriting for her local and virtual communities through her project Shireen Amini Music Medicine.

Heather Houston is passionate about uplifting hearts, freeing voices, transforming lives, and building strong, loving communities through the power of singing. She spreads her magic through her 20+years of international song circle leading, private vocal coaching, and her online offerings - The Art of Mindful Singing, S.H.E. Sings, and Sisters in Harmony Song and Chant Leader Training. You can now join her every Monday night on Zoom for a 2-hour Sisters in Harmony Global community song circle with guest artists!

Heather recently released her second solo album Sisters of the Moon which features the ethereal voices of her 40-voice women’s choir Yala Lati. Before Covid times, Heather was one of the featured song circle leaders at the annual Singing on the Edge retreat at the Esalen Institute, Song Village in the Santa Cruz Mountains, SongFest in Los Angeles and Sacred Sound Meets Sacred Nature retreat at Pema Osel Ling. She also offered annual Sisters in Harmony Retreats at Skyote Mountain and Om Oasis in the Santa Cruz mountains and taught a weekly Free Your Voice class to the guests at 1440 Multiversity. She is holding strong the vision of circling and singing together in person one day again soon!
