Sista Nonprofit Network: Sista Summit 2023

The annual Sista Summit, the flagship event for the Sista Nonprofit Network, provides a virtual safe space for Black women in nonprofit and philanthropy from across the country to gather, engage in conversations, and learn strategies for personal and professional development.

The theme for this year’s summit is Building Radical Community - focusing on community building, community care, and personal development.

The summit will open with a panel discussion led by LaTresse Snead (Bonsai Leadership Group) on "Defining Community". LaTresse will engage Regina Jackson, Summer Jackson, Sabrina Kinslow, Laura E. Knights, and Pharlone C. Toussaint in a discussion on how we define community and create our support systems for us to thrive personally and professionally.

Attendees will have the choice to attend one of the following personal development workshops:

• "How to Change Your Behavior to Reach Your Goals" with Asia Hadley and Ivonne Sims (Candid)

• "On the Journey of Liberation: Nurturing Self and Finding Community" with Kamilah Martin (Katalyst Consulting Group) and Lesline Pittman (Women on the Rise International Inc.)

• "The V.I.P. Method to Leading and Living Authentically" with Jolea Payne (Inspirit Coaching and Consulting)

Finally, we'll be joined by Toya Nash Randall (Voice. Vision. Value. Black Women Leading Philanthropy) for a keynote that you do not want to miss! Toya will teach us how to build radical community with an emphasis on community building and community care.

The panel and keynote sessions will be recorded and available for registered attendees.
