Overview

A show directed by Anna Kefalas

If you lost your favorite person in the world, what would you do to bring them back? In the wake of tragedy, Joy seeks solace from an unlikely source, one that blurs the lines between memory, technology, and reality. The debut of a vital, razor-sharp play, Sissy Mine explores grief, emotional intimacy, and the human need to be known, asking what we lose when we turn to technology for connection, and whether an algorithm can ever replicate the messiness of human love.

Content warnings: depression, death, suicide, descriptions of rape and sexual assault, graphic description of birth.
