London, United Kingdom
SISFI and The Suicide Institute, in association with My Time Inc.
invites you to our Human Wellness Workshop on
"Life After Loss: The Grieving and Healing Process, and Tips"
The workshop will be facilitated by Mr. Brett A. Scudder, Crisis and Behavioral Intervention and Response Director/Trainer at SISFI and the Suicide Institute. He will be focusing on helping people who are struggling with the challenges and needs (physical and psychological) of losing a loved one or pet through death, separation, relocation and disability to take care of themselves and balance the challenges and stressors of their grief and life. We don't always have or get time to grieve, and sometimes we keep pressing on in life thinking we can push the emotions to the back of our minds or not grieve which can haunt us in very disturbing, disabling and immeasurable ways. Grieving is a normal and natural part of our existence, yet, many of us don't grieve when we're hurting from our loss. Many of us don't know how to grieve and the difference between grief and depression. So join us for his important workshop to learn, discuss, be educated and be aware of ways of coping with life and the challenges and stressors of it. It's a free workshop and open to all.
