Join us for Sip and Create - Lino Print!
Have a go at being creative and trying something new in 2025! This event will teach you to create a design in lino, which you can then use to print onto cards and other materials (see the booking page). Led by a professional artist and great for beginners and / or those who want the chance to be creative in a fun atmosphere with friends.
There will also be a bar selling hot drinks, and alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, snacks and cake.
All the money raised from this event will go to the Avenue PTFA.
The PTFA (Parent, Teacher, Friend Association) is a group of parents, staff and governors who run events to raise funds to buy things that will benefit the children, that the school could not otherwise afford to purchase. We organise social and community events in order to build community and home-school relationships at Avenue Primary School. In the past the PTFA has raised money for things such as:
- The ‘Pod’ where our ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) is based who provides social and emotional support to pupils.
- The large play equipment in the playgrounds
- Artificial grass areas in the playgrounds
- Playground markings
- Story sacks for the library
