Partnership Roundtable Discussions

Our Goals

As global citizenship sets the tone for the 21st century, the field of education has witnessed a proliferation of international collaborations intended to improve student learning outcomes. Tapping into our broad network in both China and the US, we would like to bring school leaders and business partners together to discuss critical issues facing K-12 schools and institutions of higher learning to enhance bilateral exchanges.

We hope the colloquium can serve as a platform for US and Chinese educational institutions and companies to share their best practices and to explore partnership opportunities. By the end of the conference, our participants will walk away with effective strategies and connections to reinvigorate global programs at their schools or businesses.

Who should attend

Invited attendees include educators and administrators from K-12 schools, colleges and universities, as well as company executives from both countries. Anyone who is interested in education, especially in pursuing international educational collaboration is welcome. The conference is free but meeting room capacity is limited at 136.

Date and Location

The Education Leadership Colloquium will be held on April 23, 2018, at Harvard University (tentatively at Austin East, Harvard Law School) . The colloquium will include four panel discussions and one roundtable discussion (please see conference agenda for details).

Conference Partners

BostonWise, a local company committed to build two-way bridges across cultures.

Project Contemporary Competitiveness, a collaborative of 25 school districts in southeastern Massachusetts.

Panel Discussions:

1. Practices and Challenges in Forming International K-12 Educational Partnerships
