Event Description:

Eleven-time Grammy winner Daniel Lanois, the legendary musician and producer for U2, Bob Dylan, Peter Gabriel, Neil Young and Brian Eno, debuts his exciting new Electro Soul project for us in this one night only performance.

Get ready for extraordinary art exhibits and cocktails from Rye on the Road. The night is not to be missed!

Daniel Lanois

Winner of eleven Grammys, Daniel has produced and played on best-selling records for U2, Bob Dylan and Peter Gabriel. He has produced career-defining records for Emmylou Harris, Neil Young, Willie Nelson, The Neville Brothers. In collaboration with Brian Eno, Lanois created the ambient music classic Apollo: Atmospheres & Soundtracks.

One of the finest sonic experimenters of our time, Daniel continues to push boundaries by collaborating with musicians like electronic music innovator Venetian Snares. He is now reaching a whole new generation of listeners through the songs he wrote for the 2018 video game smash, Red Dead Redemption 2. His contribution to music ripples through practically every style and sound of the modern era, whether it is acoustic or electronic, country, roots or chill house, futurist, underground or pop. No matter the genre, listen closely and you'll hear traces of Daniel Lanois' sonic signatures.

“I operate under the banner of soul music – music that just feels right and comes from a truthful place.” - Daniel Lanois

Sinners & Saints

Sinners & Saints is an arts project founded by Ted Weiss in partnership with Rob Garza, co-founder of Thievery Corporation. We create unique musical performances and sound installations with emerging and established musicians in conversation with Saint Joseph’s Arts Society's visual artists. We challenge artistic boundaries to create new music and experiences in collaboration with Ken Fulk's reimagined church.

Saint Joseph's Art Society

Located on 10th and Howard, Ken Fulk has reimagined this former church—damaged and condemned in the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake—as an incubator for the creative expression of emerging and renowned artists, and a community dedicated to celebrating the best in fine arts, design, food, fashion, literature and performance.
