Description

Single Stop: From Implementation to Impact at the Community College of Philadelphia

Please join us for the fourth webinar in our College Success Network series. This webinar aims to help us answer the question "How do we connect students to resources and supports to help them deal with "out-of-classroom" challenges?"

In this webinar we will explore Single Stop at the Community College of Philadelphia. At CCP, the Single Stop office connects students to health insurance, food resources, free tax preparation, legal aid, financial education, childcare, utilities, cash and other subsidies, and/or internal and external referrals that meet the needs of the students. Since 2013, Single Stop at CCP has connected students and their families with more than $28 million dollars in tax refunds, cash, and non-cash benefits. This webinar will discuss how Single Stop was started and the impact on CCP students.

Featured Speakers:

  • Paula Umaña, Project Director for Single Stop at CCP
  • Susanne Harnett, Managing Senior Associate, at Metis (the evaluator for Single Stop at CCP - see the report here)
  • Sarah Crawford, National Director, Partnerships and Programs, Single Stop

After registering, we will send you the information to join the Zoom call. Any questions, please reach out to Caitlin Fritz caitlin@phennd.org.
