About this Event
Art
Students will learn the fundamentals of drawing, proportion, blending colors, shading and composition layout. Instructors will introduce foundations of color mixing and design as well as encourage the individual creative process.
Clay
Learn how to build a 3D model one shape at a time with the help of a skilled instructor. Students will create their favorite characters, animals, landscapes and more out of soft, air dry clay, play dough, or modeling clay. One session will also be dedicated to how to easily make your own colored play-dough or sculpting clay with common kitchen ingredients.
STEAM
Students will be introduced to STEAM concepts through experiments and building contraptions using common household items. By empowering children with the freedom to make independent discoveries through the explorative scientific process, instructors will assist students with tinkering projects engineered of their own imagination. Recycled art projects will also be introduced.
Horticulture
Learn how to plant your own herbs, flowers, and succulents with guidance from a live instructor. Decorate your pot or plant holder.
Jewelry
Learn how to make necklaces, bracelets, earrings and more. Instructors will teach students how to create their own beads from clay, paint and seal the beads, then string them together to create a custom jewelry piece.
Culinary
Join us for fun and simple culinary activities!
We will guide you along the way, taking it step by step!
We’ll learn how to prep a station, measuring and mixing ingredients, as well as how to plate!
Origami
Make unique origami creations with step-by-step guidance on how to fold various characters and objects.
Digital Art
Skilled instructors will demonstrate the basic fundamentals of digital art. Students can begin on free programs such as Sketchbook, Medibang Paint and other digital art software easy to use on the ipad or computer. Introduction to Procreate and foundations of digital illustration will be covered.

- I will ensure that the background behind my student's camera will be a solid wall or household view that is appropriate for children
- At the discretion of the camp host, I understand my student's screen may be turned off as a precautionary measure to ensure the privacy of others as well as my student.
Camp is non-refundable but can be transferred to another day or another family.

Please note: The Young Art camp supply kit does not include supplies for culinary art , recycled art nor digital activities. Please check the above supply list for all other items that you will need for your chosen day.
