Event description

Description

Celebrate the 500th Anniversary of the Protestant Reformation with some of the greatest hymns composed in the Reformed tradition. We will sing works of Martin Luther as well as contemporary Lutherans, such as Susan Palo Cherwien, Richard Leach, Susan Briehl and others. Noted Lutheran liturgical scholar Gail Ramshaw will be our presenter for the evening. A reception will follow the hymn-sing, in the VTS Welcome Center.

Presented by the Center for Liturgy and Music, part of Lifelong Learning at Virginia Theological Seminary.
