Description

SINGAPORE SLING - Presented in partnership with RainGoggles

Thursday 7 September, Doors & Bar 7pm, Screening starts 7.30pm

An ex-detective Singapore Sling wonders alone on the rainy night devastated by the disappearance of his beloved Laura. The house he stumbles upon is the last place Laura was seen. Sling is wounded and is taken advantage of by the inhabitants of the house.

True underground cult, inspired by Hollywood 40’s film noir and loaded with erotic regurgitation, cannibalism, incest, lesbianism, bondage, bizarre sex and torture.

Nikos Nikolaidis is one of the most influential Greek filmmakers. He is often regarded as a godfather of Greek New Wave cinema. Films like Dogtooth, Lobster, Attenberg are among the others that were inspired by Nikolaidis work.

Singapore Sling (1990) has never been screened in the UK.

(Rated 18, 111mins, 1990)

RainGoggles specialises in exposing audiences to the world of foreign cult film curiosities.
