About this Event

Following the success of the inaugural edition in 2019, the Singapore Healthcare Engineering Forum 2020 (Virtual) is jointly organized by Biomedical Engineering Society (Singapore), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers - Engineering in Medicine and Biology (IEEE-EMB) Singapore Chapter, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers – Women In Engineering (IEEE-WIE) Singapore Chapter and The Institution of Engineers, Singapore – Biomedical Engineering Technical Committee (IES-BETC).

This virtual one-day forum offers a platform for networking, education and solutions for like-minded professionals in the field of Healthcare Engineering.

Invited speakers will be sharing their insights on these 4 themes during this forum:

1) Monitoring & Wearable Devices for COVID-19

2) Diagnostics Test Kits in Healthcare

3) Regulatory and Quality Challenges during COVID-19

4) Cybersecurity and Telemedicine

This year's keynote address is by Professor Lim Chwee Teck from National University of Singapore, titled 'Point-of-Care Technologies for the Rapid Diagnosis of COVID-19'.
