Event description

Description

The Sing Me High Music Festival, August 25-26, 2017, celebrates music and faith in the Shenandoah Valley. This annual event features:

  • Music groups;
  • Old-fashioned hymn singing;
  • Mennonite and Brethren artisans;
  • Children’s activities;
  • Local food vendors, pork barbecue sandwiches, coleslaw, popcorn, and ice cream;
  • Guitar raffle, from local maker Showalter Guitars;
  • Quilt raffle;
  • Heritage Center Harvest Day activities;
  • and a Pie Auction.

This year the festival is August 25 from 5-8 PM and August 26 from 10 AM to 9 PM. Sing Me High Music Festival is jointly hosted by CrossRoads: the Valley Brethren-Mennonite Heritage Center and the Walking Roots Band. The festival is a family-friendly, alcohol-free event. Bring a blanket, your favorite camp chairs, or a sofa on wheels.

We invite you to join us at the Sing Me High Music Festival to listen, sing, laugh, eat, and play – all while you celebrate family, friends, and faith, whatever your tradition.
