• Stimulate your creativity?

• Increase your confidence?

• Find your inner artist

• Just relax?

Then you’re gonna love Zentangle®!

I know, I think you can't draw. I thought so too for many years. But, I assure you - YOU CAN!

If you can draw a line, dot, “c”, “s” and “o”, you can tangle!

The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. It’s simple to understand and easy to do — even if you’re convinced you are not an artist!

At first glance, a Zentangle creation can seem intricate and complicated. But, when you learn how it is done, you realize how simple it is . . . sort of like learning the secret behind a magic trick!

Zentangle focuses on process, not on outcome. When you create without a pre-determined outcome, your creation is not restricted by your expectations.

Creating Zentangle art provides a fun and lighthearted way to relax and intentionally facilitate a shift in focus and perspective while creating beautiful works of art. It is an empowering and uplifting experience!

In this two-hour workshop, I will briefly discuss the origins, philosophy and fundamentals of Zentangle, the 8 basic steps to creating a Zentangle tile and demonstrate tangles that introduce some of the core techniques of the Zentangle Method.

This class invites all levels and requires NO artistic experience.

Benefits of the Zentangle Method include:

• Relaxation and mindfulness

• Relieve stress

• Nurture and develop creative abilities

• Improve self-esteem

• Improve eye/hand coordination

• Increase attention span and ability to concentrate

• Create beautiful works of art
