Simple Sundays is a FREE show. Doors open at 6:30pm. The comedy show is from 7:00 -9:00 pm. There is ample parking by the venue.

On Sunday, April 28th, at 7:00 p.m., Simple Bar and Grill presents the last Simple Sunday Comedy Show in April. Join for a night of free comedy with two, count them two headliners, Sean Savoy and Yannick, alongside the equally funny Nathan Luft, Jack Hummel, and Rachel Weinberg.

Sean Savoy is a global force for comedy, as well an actor and writer. Hailing from Columbia Maryland, Savoy has toured the planet. Performing in over 50 European cities and all over the USA with his partner in comedy, the legendary Pablo Francisco. He has appeared on Comedy Central, along with Gotham Comedy Live. Savoy’s high impact, rapid-fire hilarity belies his mellow mood and laid-back attitude. Combining diverse characters with a wicked wit, Savoy can reach an audience with his timeless material, while meeting his expressed goal – to bring joy with his jokes and heal hearts with humor all while bringing much fun to his audiences as he’s having on stage.

Yannick is a Togolese-born stand-up comedian who relocated to Silver Spring, MD at the age of 11. After being voted “Class Clown” of his graduating class at Springbrook High School, he began his comedy career in the small bars of DC. At the age of 19 he moved to New York City and began cutting his teeth on the city’s toughest stages. For the last 7 years he’s been tearing up the best stages in the DC area. He headlines a monthly show called “Pay Attention To Me” at venues such as Songbyrd, Busboys & Poets & The Wonderland Ballroom.
