Wouldn't it be great if someone else did your meal planning, shopping, chopping and clean-up? If your answer is "yes" then our Simple Fix Workshop is for you!

In 30-40 minutes, you'll have 5, 6, or 7 meals of your choice ready to serve any night of the week. Each meal serves at least 4 people and includes an entree and a side. You'll save hours of your time and get to try our dietitian's favorite new recipes! Our 3 price options: 5 meals for $85, 6 meals for $100, or 7 meals for $115. We offer two starting times: 6:00p, 6:30p. You can choose the 6:30p start time or TO-GO option when you are placing your order for meals. Please make sure that you choose the ticket with the right starting time and the correct number of meals.

Workshops are held in the Papillion Hy-Vee Club Room, which is just up the stairs or elevator on the northeast corner of the store. Please bring a cooler to use for transporting your food; all other supplies will be provided. Registration closes 48 hours prior to the workshop's starting time, so please register early. Notice our menu below which changes at least monthly. We've added a brief description of the recipe below each menu item.


If you love the idea of having fresh, healthy meals in your fridge/freezer and ready to go, but aren't able to make it to our workshop, you can now purchase a ticket that allows you to pick up your meals, already assembled, after the workshop! This extra service is $20 in addition to your ticket price. Please call Shannon or Nancy (402-597-5790) to arrange a time to come pick up your meals once you've registered.

Private Workshops Available:

Are you interested in a private workshop with your friends? Simply round up a group of 8-12 people to join you, then call us to schedule the date and choose the menu from our recipe database. We'll take it from there!

(Shrimp quickly simmered in a lemon-white wine herb sauce served over angel hair pasta)

_____ *Slow Cooker Melt-In-Your-Mouth Chuck Roast served with Mashed Potatoes

(Not your ordinary pot roast! Fork-tender meat and vegetables with a delicious gravy)

_____ *Slow Cooker Creole Chicken & Andouille Stew served with a Hy-Vee Baker Baguette

(A hearty, flavorful Creole stew with chicken breast and chicken Andouille sausage. Not overly spicy!)

_____ Easy Oven-Baked Mediterranean Chicken Breasts served with Couscous

(Baked boneless chicken breasts topped with Kalamata olives, capers and Mediterranean seasonings)

_____ Sundried Tomato Meatloaf served with Risotto

(Lean ground beef with parmesan cheese, herbs and bits of sundried tomatoes)

_____ *Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork Roast served with Stuffing

(It’s November, so it’s all about cranberries, and not just with turkey. An easy taste of the season)

_____ Maple Chili Glazed Pork Chops served with your choice of regular or sweet potato tots

(Pure maple syrup and apple cider are key to these flavorful chops that are quickly prepared in a skillet)

Please note that you can select each entrée more than once. It is perfectly fine to make multiples of the same meal if that is what your family prefers. Additionally, please note that most meals can be made with gluten-free ingredients. Please send us an email if you would prefer gluten-free meals so we can ensure your ingredients are gluten-free, however, note that our facility is not certified gluten-free.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that unplanned issues can come up and you may not be able to attend an event you have purchased a ticket for. If that happens, we respectfully ask for tickets to be cancelled at least 24 hours before the event so that we have an opportunity to fill your seat. Any tickets cancelled before the 24-hour deadline will be refunded in full in accordance with Eventbrite's cancellation policy. Cancellations made within the 24-hour window before the event cannot be refunded, meals can be made as a to-go order for an extra $20. We thank you for being a valued Hy-Vee customer and for your understanding and cooperation as we institute this policy.


What can/can't I bring to the event?

  • Bring something to take your meals home in – i.e. cooler on wheels, laundry basket, plastic tote, etc.

  • You may bring a shopping cart up on the elevator to use to transport your meals to your car. The elevator is located back between the Deli and the Bakery.

  • You may bring 1 guest (12 years and older) to help assist you.

  • Alcohol is not allowed.

What if I change my mind on a menu choice after I've placed my order?

You are allowed to change your order up to 48 hours prior to the start of the event, you simply request a refund for your current order and then re-do your order with the correct choices. The organizer will be notified of this change so that we can be properly prepared. These classes are prepared for with great detail, please call us if there is a concern or if you find an error the day before. Thank you for consideration.
