Please join SIM Houston on August 20th to hear a special panel discussion featuring Chris “Flash” Richardson, COO Lone Star Flight Museum and former US Air Force fighter pilot, and Keith Turpin, CISO Universal Weather & Aviation. You will learn about the technology and security in the modern aircraft from both an aircraft operators and cybersecurity professional’s perspective. During this panel discussion, moderated by Ken Piddington, you will learn about technology and security challenges in aviation and how relatable they are in all industries:

  • How technology advances are impacting aviation and how the technology in the aircraft is overloading the operator

  • Challenges and misalignment between technology developers and the aircraft operators

  • Security management challenges with the expansion of technology in the aircraft

  • The Flying Starbucks – providing all the entertainment and technology services expected by the passengers while still addressing passenger privacy and aircraft security

Additionally, you’ll learn about the STEM education programs being offered by Lone Star Flight museum.

Lone Star Flight Museum will be giving away a free flight on a 1940's era bi-plane, the Boeing PT-17 Stearman!
