The Silloth Music & Beer Festival will take place this year from Thursday 10th September to Sunday 13th September on Silloth Green CELEBRATING 20 YEARS..! The festival is organised by the committee of Silloth Music Festivals Ltd. which is a not-for-profit company; any profits made are either ploughed back into improving future festivals or helping other music events on The Green.

All the committee members and festival helpers are unpaid volunteers; we feel this is important and is reflected in the many positive comments we receive each year from regular festival-goers.

Our aim is to provide an enjoyable, relaxed and entertaining 4 days for local people and to attract visitors to Silloth-on-Solway to help local businesses. We feel our festival is unique in offering both music and beer in equal quantities!

In addition to our headline acts we promote local bands giving them a chance to perform on ‘the big stage’.

Around 60 real ales – many from Cumbria itself – are featured with some 20 plus draft ciders. For the non-real ale drinkers we offer lager, perry ciders, wine, soft drinks and water!

On Saturday afternoons we have a free and easy session allowing you to enjoy a drink or two in a more relaxed atmosphere.

Sunday afternoon is traditionally our Family Afternoon, offering face painting and other activities yet to be confirmed.

N.B. Children are only allowed in events on Saturday and Sunday afternoons free of charge providing they are accompanied by a responsible adult.
