Event description

Description

Jane Clayson Johnson is a national broadcast journalist, widely known for her work at CBS News, ABC News, and NPR. Over more than two decades, she traveled the world covering international stories, presidential campaigns, and interviewing the biggest newsmakers of the day. A best-selling author, Jane’s upcoming book, Silent Souls Weeping, is a candid look inside the core-shaking world of depression. Jane shines a light on the desperate, dark, and lonely reality faced by those who struggle with clinical depression. She has drawn upon scores of real-life experiences in an effort to open a dialogue—a new level of honesty, authenticity, and hope for those who suffer.

Women (12 years and older) and those who influence them are invited (this means men are welcome too)!

Our evening will conclude with light refreshments as attendees dialogue about what they have learned. The event will live stream, and video recordings of the event will be available at www.uen.org, www.utwomen.org, and rebroadcast on UEN-TV channel 9.1.
