Sammy Terry – a ghoul who emerged from his coffin each week to introduce late-night TV’s “Nightmare Theatre” on WTTV-4 – will emcee this evening of spooky fun at Indiana Landmarks Center.
Sammy will introduce the 1920 silent movie classic Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Award-winning theater organist Mark Herman will provide live accompaniment for the film, screened in the Grand Hall. Preceding the film screening, he’ll perform a short selection of classic scary music on the organ. Special lighting effects join the haunting organ accompaniment to create an eerie Halloween eve destination.
You can buy adult beverages at our cash bar will be available. Dress up as Dr. Jekyll or Mr. or Ms. Hyde to compete for a cash prize for best costume. Sammy and his famous guillotine will be available for photos as well throughout the evening, and we’ll award door prizes.
