About our Signature Speaker:
Rick Weber currently leads the marketing department for Added Value Services (AVS) as its Vice President of Marketing. His department works with the nine product lines of AVS, which are targeted to finance decision makers, specifically in the areas of tax, payments and HR compliance.
A veteran of marketing and communications, Rick has had an extensive career in the semiconductor industry in leadership roles prior to joining ADP. Rick started his career at Pacific Communications Sciences where he managed all components of the customer satisfaction and value chain. He then moved to Rockwell Semiconductor where, as a Manager of Marketing Communications, he established messaging and overall communications direction for the Wireless Communications Division. Rick next became the Sr. Manager of Marketing Communications at Skyworks and developed comprehensive marketing programs for multiple product lines during his tenure. Rick then worked for Broadcom as the Director of Communications, developing both internal and external communications teams and providing communications counsel to executives.
Most recently, Rick was a consultant for Resources Global Professionals where he worked with Fortune 100 companies on change management and communication strategies. Currently, as the Vice President of Marketing for AVS, Rick oversees a wide range of marketing initiatives. He was instrumental in establishing a successful digital marketing program that includes creating landing pages, digital tools and videos optimized for search engine marketing. Included in this effort are the point-of-view pitches produced by CVI, which are foundation for all new marketing materials. In addition, Rick oversees internal communications as well as communications to clients. Under his leadership, the marketing department has grown AVS thought leadership through contributed articles, white papers, webinars and analyst relations.
Rick received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from The George Washington University.
Q: Do I qualify for AMA member pricing?
A: While everyone is welcome to attend our events, professional OC AMA members and AMA members from other local chapters receive special pricing as a member benefit. A member constitutes individuals who are current American Marketing Association (AMA) members, since the OC AMA is the local Orange County Chapter of the AMA. We open our social media platforms to all of the OC business and marketing community, so being a member of our LinkedIn, Meetup, Facebook and Twitter does not constitute membership. If you're interested in becoming a member, click here to learn more or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q. What is the cancellation policy?
A. We understand that your plans may change, but in order to provide a head count to our event facility for food we can only accept cancellations up to 48 hours before the event. No refunds will be given to cancellations made less than 48 hours before an event.
Q. Does OC AMA serve food and drinks at its events?
A. We will serve appetizers and a cash bar is available for all attendees.
