Signal Over Noise Part 3: Managing My Energy to Get Stuff Done
Overview
Once you’ve learned how to tell the difference between “signal and noise,” the next step is figuring out how to keep your tasks and inbox under control. For many new supervisors, the to-do list feels endless and the emails never stop coming. This workshop will give you simple, practical ways to manage both so you can feel more in control of your day.
Participants will:
- Try out different styles of to-do lists and find one that actually works for them
- Learn how to set daily priorities (like naming a “top 3”) and protect time to get them done
- Explore email strategies to reduce overwhelm, including filters, batching, and the “two-minute rule”
- Build a personal system for staying on top of tasks and follow-ups without burning out
By the end of the session, you’ll leave with tools you can use the very next day to tame your inbox, manage your workload, and focus your energy on leading your team.
