“Youth Development in Sport: Countering Abuse & Trafficking of Minors”

Thursday, 26 April 2018, The North Miami-Dade College (MDC) Campus Conference Center, Miami

Youth Development and Child Protection in Sport is one of SIGA’s core strategic areas. It is essential that young athletes are valued and treated with the highest levels of respect, dignity and integrity.

We are committed to take a very proactive stance to promote best practice and action-orientated initiatives to ensure the effective safeguard of children and young people on the pathway to professional and elite sport, protecting them from all forms of abuse, harm and discrimination, and enabling them to participate in an enjoyable and safe environment.

In pursuance of SIGA's 2018 Plan of Activities, SIGA is organising this high-level Special Session on "Youth Development in Sport: Countering Abuse & Trafficking of Minors", taking place in Miami, Florida, on 26 of April 2018, between 14:00 and 18:00 local time.

On 25 April 2018, SIGA will organise a Dinner-Debate on this topic. To register, please visit: https://sigadinnerdebate.eventbrite.com
