Description

Do the math.

According to the United Nations most current population estimates of North America, we share our continent with 361,905,979 people. A study of the most active social media platforms in each country by Hootsuite and We Are Social found 2.789 BILLION* active social media users in North America (released January 2017).

That means most us are active on average on at least 8 different social platforms, excluding infants and nonagenarians.

Social media is a part of what every brand does and nonprofits must think of their organizations as brands, too. Nonprofits share relevant information or knowledge that adds value to their members, donors, patients, or customers’ lives. Eventually, just as a consumer brand, that value shared hopefully lands a buyer of either a product, program, membership or a donor because our missions need funding. But with all that activity, how is it possible to break through the clutter and get noticed?

The Chicago American Marketing Association has partnered with the Association Forum to bring you this highly anticipated session to discuss social media, for a variety of budgets! Join John Armstrong of Liquid Iron and Allison Lundberg of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine as they discuss how to get your organization noticed on social media, discovering your social media voice and taking it to the next level with advertising.

Key Takeaways:

  • Make your organization more efficient with social media
  • Discover how to communicate with your organization’s personality
  • Utilize social media advertising to hit your niche market
