Empowering Voices • February 5th & 6th, 2021
Writers and literature lovers, come to the virtual 2021 Sierra Writers Conference for special writing events featuring James McBride, award-winning author and jazz musician, and Bettina Love, revolutionary educator and speaker. During this two-day virtual conference focusing on “Empowering Voices,” work with successful writers who will share their voices to empower yours. Discover ways to approach your craft, develop your writing, and pursue publication. Join us for two days of virtual learning, sharing, growing, and being inspired to renew or begin your writing journey!

Sierra College Students and Staff Free
For tickets listed as free for “Registered Sierra College Students or Sierra College Staff Only,” you must be a current registered Sierra College student or employee with a Sierra College email and Sierra College ID number.
Critique Sessions
Critique Sessions are virtual for $30 on Friday, February 5th, 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM. Space is limited to five people for each section. These sessions run concurrently; you can only sign up for one section.

Funded solely through grants and ticket sales, the Sierra Writers Conference brings prominent writers and speakers and high-quality writing instruction to Sierra College students and the local community.
