SIERRA CLUB MARINE TEAM PRESENTS: SE Florida Marine Forum 2018
Event Information
Description
Attention SE Florida Residents, Ocean Lovers & Activists:
Are you concerned about climate change, sea level rise, and the increasing amount of human-made pollution, plastics and offshore oil drilling negatively impacting the look, feel, and chemistry of our life-giving oceans and regional seafood?
Then please join the SE Florida Sierra Marine & Water Quality Team and members of the Tri-County Sierra Clubs on Saturday, April 14, 2018 (10a-5p), for a very special FREE-TO-THE-PUBLIC FORUM featuring a host of outstanding speakers working in their respective fields as well as knowledgeable representatives from several locally based environment-related organizations.
The 2018 Forum will be held inside the Hallandale Beach Community/Cultural Center Center, at 410 SE 3rd Street, Hallandale Beach 33009, across from Gulfstream Village, behind the Library in the Hallandale City Hall complex off US1 (see map on this page). There’s plenty of free & safe car parking surrounding the building, with easy access for the handicapped.
Please register via this Eventbrite page to guarantee your seat(s) for you and your guests. We have capacity for over 100 people at the Hallandale Beach Center (general admission, no assigned seating), so please consider inviting your friends and family.
