The Sierra Cascade Bicycle Race follows the Pacific Crest Trail through some of the most beautiful riding to be had. Fully self supported, self contained race. No prize, no entry fee. The route is roughly 2500 miles and for the first year we'll be following the ACA maps. There may be wildfires enroute and may have to detour properly. The riders will need to self regulate the entire race. I will update as I build this up. Such as a ride with gps file and a gpx file pictures and what not. I've ridden on sections of this route and the elevations are a true challenge to one's endurance and stamina. Be aware there will be dangerous road conditions with little to no shoulder coupled with unaware drivers. From what I understand this will be in a few sections of California. Make sure you are lit up and visible at all times. This race is a ride at your own risk and in no way will I be held responsible for any accident other than my own. Please be aware an understand that cycling on open roads is always a risk. Please consider this before joining the event.
Of course, no electric bikes. Of course, if one did finish. It would make me proud
