Event description

Description

Give your generosity of listening to our community!

Join Sidewalk Talk at Lava Mae’s Pop-Up Care Village and help us spread Radical Hospitality to people experiencing homelessness by bringing the generosity of listening. All you need are open ears, an open mind, and an open heart. We’ll help you with the rest. Chairs, coffee, and lunch will be provided. Please come for an hour or stay for the entire event.

Become a Volunteer Listener!

Step 1 - Become a member of the Sidewalk Talk community, you can do that online here.

Step 2 - Register as a volunteer and take the listening training

Step 3 - Sign the Volunteer Waiver

Step 4 - RSVP to this Eventbrite invite so we know to expect you.

What do I need to bring?

1 - Your SWT t-shirt if you have one. If not, I can likely loan you one at the event.

2 - The weather can be unpredictable, so please bring water, sunblock, and layers.

3 - Your open heart and curiosity. :)

Where are we meeting?

Meet on the Fulton Street side of the San Francisco Main Library between Larkin and Hyde streets.
