Stock the Shoppe is a pop-up shopping experience within Children's Mercy Hospital that allows the parents of hospitalized children to holiday shop at no cost, and without being away from their children. Toys, books and gifts cards are needed for children aged (infant to 18-21 years old). If you would like to bring a gift for this, we will be happy to make sure it gets to the Shoppe.
About the speaker
Graham Dodge is the CEO of Sickweather, a crowdsourcing platform that mines social media for real-time disease surveillance. Graham is a veteran of the dot-com bubble and an award-winning marketing professional who has been recognized as a "Social Innovation Rockstar" by Yoxi/BOLD, and featured among Broadband for America's "Faces of Innovation." Graham was able to secure Sickweather partnerships with AccuWeather and the Weather Channel and a licensing deal with Johnson & Johnson. They’ve released their Apple Watch app which determines the SickScore™ of your current location and the app was featured on the home page of the healthy living section of the Apple Watch store. He is a graduate of KC's own Sprint Accelerator powered by Techstars and currently lives on a farmette near Baltimore with his wife and four kids.
