For our second Pancake Breakfast for potential SIC Coworkers, we are featuring Donna Sweidan, Founder of Stamford-based Careerfolk. Her topic is titled:
Trends, Tweets, and Tools: How to create Income Security in a World without Job Security.
Abstract: In current times, job security seems to be a thing of the past. Instead, professional travel from employer to employer, with the average job lasting only two years. The world’s “new" economy calls for a whole new way of thinking and stretching beyond one’s comfort zone. This presentation will share tips on generating work and income without needing to wait for the elusive traditional job offer. We will discuss the key trends, the tools, and the mindset one needs to stop seeking job security and start building income security.

Following the breakfast discussion, you are welcome to stay and cowork for the day, and enjoy our great wifi, coffee, etc. Please register so that we can ensure we have enough food for everyone, we will be purchasing supplies to cover our guest list.

12 PM: coworker Shannon Daniels of Water Yourself Health will lead our monthly meetup “Stress Relief for Startups."
6pm: Our weekly Innovation Roundtable, which usually includes a speaker on tech or startup stuff, along with fun networking, wine, beer, light dinner.
