Description

Join us for a night of non stop laughs upstairs at Art Marble 21 in South Lake Union. Shut Up & Laugh has been one of Seattle's best comedy shows for the past two years. Don't miss out on a night of entertainment, food and drink!

Headliner: Brad Upton

Brad Upton in a past winner of the Las Vegas Comedy Festival and appeared recently at Caesar's Palace as part of the HBO Comedy Festival. Twenty three years and 4500 shows have made this Seattle based comic a much sought after performer and earned the respect of his peers. The Seattle Times said, "Brad Upton has mastered the nearly impossible task of appealing to people from the ages of 18 to 80."

His ease and likability on stage have made him very popular with corporate clients and the cruise ship industry where he is a headline performer for several of the major cruise lines. Brad has headlined nearly every comedy club from Anchorage to Miami but his club appearances are becoming increasingly rare because of his busy schedule. Brad has made numerous television appearances and was heard around the nation for several years as a regular guest on National Public Radio's "REWIND" program. Brad and his wife of 21-years have a 14-year old son and 11-year old daughter....they live in a cul-de-sac.

Feature: Robert Lizaola

Since 2003 Rodger Lizaola has been pretty awesome at telling Jokes. So he has been doing so to strangers in bars and comedy clubs across the country.

Growing up on the mean streets of Gilroy, CA. Rodger always had a knack to make his friends laugh as well as those around him, but to get on stage seemed terrifying. Stage fright aside, the opportunity presented itself in February 2003 when he moved to Seattle, Wa. Rodger took the stage at Comedy Underground. Those first 3 mins were absolutely terrifying and exhilarating at the same time. Though the first years were tough and humbling he stuck with it and became one of the youngest headliners in the Northwest.

Rodger Lizaola has opened up for such acts as comedy legend David Brenner, Eddie Brill, Louis CK, Tom Cotter, Mike Epps, Jimmy Dore, Tom Rhoads, Ty Barnett, and Alonzo Bodden as well as such Musical acts as The Black Eyed Peas, Pussycat Dolls, Baby Bash, Rhianna, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Good Charlotte, and The Backstreet Boys.
