Event description

Description

Navigating the college admission process is unwieldy for any teenager. Whether your student is the first in your family to attend college, has siblings in college, or has parents who graduated from an Ivy League institution, applying to college is new to your teen.

Using real stories, Tips, Tales & Truths for Teens offers a practical road map to follow throughout high school as your teen prepares to apply to college.

Dr. Cynthia Colón holds a B.A. from the Annenberg School of Communication at USC, an M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University, and an Ed.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Parents, students, educators, and community members welcome! Spanish interpretation will be available. Free admission & light refreshments.

Sequoia Parent Education Series events are sponsored by SHSEF, Sequoia Healthcare District, and Sequoia Union High School District.

Questions? Contact Charlene Margot, M.A., Director, The Parent Education Series, cmargot@csmconsulting.net.

For Spanish, contact Mayela Ramirez, Parent Center Coordinator, 650-367-9780, Ext. 63105.
