10 Year Reunion Itinerary

FRIDAY:

Friday afternoon we’ll meet at F&M, TBD (probably along 7th and Main Street) to ride in the parade. Truck and trailer will be ready to go! We will update you as the time approaches on parade start times, and any other important information you will need to know to participate in the parade. We will be passing out armbands and t-shirts to whoever has ordered them then. T-shirts are sold separately and may be purchased here while purchasing your ticket. **PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A SCHOOL SANCTIONED EVENT. There will be security at the parade and any suspicion of drug or alcohol use will be addressed and could result in

At this time, there are no plans for tailgating, as this privilege has been revoked due to drug and alcohol use on school property during past years. For those interested, there will be a Booster Club fish fry at the Grand Prairie Center. Those tickets are usually $13-$15.

The game starts at 7:00. We’ll do our best to get a spot where we can all sit together. Classes are always announced, so let’s represent ’07 and be the loudest class out there!

SATURDAY:

Saturday from 12:00-3:00 we will have a family friendly event at the Rice Bowling Center (the bowling alley). Even if you don’t have children, we would like everyone to join. The bowling alley serves beer and great pub-style food! Shoe rental is $2 and each game is $2. You will pay when you arrive. Please RSVP yourself and anyone you are bringing if you plan to bowl so we can plan and get lanes reserved!

Saturday night we have rented The American Legion Hall from 7-11:30. The address is 1207 South Park Avenue. This gathering will be for Class of 2007 graduates and their plus one/spouse/significant other only. Each C/O 2007 grad will be allowed one guest. There will be no children or anyone under 21 allowed. The cost is $50 per couple, $30 for singles. You will be given an armband if you have paid. If you aren’t wearing an armband, you will be asked to pay at the door, or you will be asked to leave. There will be a paid list at the door. The cost of admission will help cover food, DJ, facilities, decorations, security as required by the venue, as well as help us keep money in the bank for future events. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Bring your own alcohol and mixers! Our DJ will play from 8-11:30.

There will be security there for everyone’s safety. We DO NOT anticipate any problems, and shouldn’t have to as we are all adults and can have a great time without any trouble! Security is not there to give public intox tickets or DWI’s, just for general safety. Consider arranging a driver for yourself or a group, we want to see everyone in the next 10 years!

Payment: Pay as you please but know that all payment is due by September 14th. NOTE: There will be a small fee added to your transaction. No refunds will be given!! If you cannot make it, please consider your payment a donation to the class. Do not encourage those that did not attend school and graduate with us to purchase tickets. They will not be allowed in. Our venue is smaller and cannot hold more than our class and our guests.

Myron, Eric, and I have put a lot into planning this event and look forward to seeing everyone! We know we’re going to have a great time!
