Description

Shreveport Sounds: A Music History Symposium will investigate the history of North Louisiana’s various decades of music and musicians (focusing on pre-1970). The one-day symposium will take place in Shreveport on Friday, November 3rd, and will feature lectures, discussions, tours, films, and musical performances.

$75 Symposium Registration 8am-5pm

$25 Luncheon Only 12-1pm

$50 Prohibition Party 7-10pm

$100 All-day Pass 8am-10pm

What else could make the day even better? How about a Shreveport Music POP-UP Museum. Explore Shreveport, past and present, in this unique, one-day only, pop-up museum experience featuring exclusive viewing of music memorabilia at Shreve Memorial Library.

And end the day at Norla's Prohibition Party with a vaudeville-styled dinner theater. More details will be announced soon.
