Event Details

The Midtown Education Summit is a comprehensive effort to bring together Midtown community members with representatives of the many schools that serve the families and children of our neighborhoods. You are one of those schools! The Summit provides school leaders the opportunity to showcase the wonderful programs, faculty and vision you have for your school and the community you serve.

An Open House will be held in the lobby of the Childrens Museum of Indianapolis.  A table and 2 chairs will be provided for each school.  Parents will be able to talk to as many schools as they choose.

There are so many great schools in our community and our hope is that this event begins a conversation that recognizes that fact. It will be a great night for families to learn more about your school and programs through individual conversations.   Join parents, their children and other community stakeholders through a celebration of the many GREAT schools that educate our children throughout the area.

Please let us know you can participate by September 6 and contact Keelee Slack ( with any questions.

The Education Summit is made possible through the united efforts of the 17 neighborhoods in MIDTOWN. Don’t miss!

Midtown Indy

Midtown Indy is an activator, connector, advocate, and revitalization agent. We bring together the people, neighborhood associations, organizations, investors, and funders to make things happen. We connect those with a passion for generating economic opportunity and a better quality of life to the needs of our region. We are advocates for addressing the most blighted areas through public policy, long-range urban planning, public programming, and thoughtful land use initiatives. We are champions for Midtown. We want to play a part in creating excitement for its present and future – while celebrating its past.
