SHOWCASE: An Interactive Singing Workshop & Competition

Join us for an interactive virtual experience like none other, where you can practice your singing performance skills, receive real-time feedback from professionals and connect with other aspiring artists from around the world.

Oh, AND you'll vote on your favorite performer, where one singer will win the "Best in Showcase" award.

What is SHOWCASE?

SHOWCASE is both a virtual singing competition & a live vocal workshop. More importantly, it's a chance to work on your singing and receive real-time feedback from some of LA's top vocal coaches. The event is hosted by The Tabor Studio.

Get live singing tips from active recording artists, Jameson Tabor, and special guest mentor, Linata —all in a safe and supportive environment. You can even interact with the coaches and performers, and offer up your own supportive feedback. In fact, it's encouraged! We want everyone to build their confidence and singing knowledge.

What to Expect:

🎶 Live Performances: Watch and support your fellow singers as they perform live in this friendly & encouraging singing competition.
🎤 Real-Time Feedback: Performers will receive live coaching with personalized tips and guidance, in front of their peers.
🗣️ Peer Support: Connect with fellow singers on their vocal journeys in our backstage breakout rooms and share insights.

This event is completely FREE for all current voice students! For free entry, please email thetaborstudio@gmail.com with your name and the name of your Vocal Coach.

Tickets are $5 for all others to vote & attend.

👑 Vote for your favorite performer — the winner will be crowned "Best in Showcase" will receive a prize valued at $300.

How do I APPLY to perform?

Simply fill out this SHOWCASE Submission Form by the deadline of Monday, December 1st at midnight (PST). Performers will be selected and announced the week before the event, with priority given to singers who have not performed before and those who are currently taking vocal lessons. All performers are encouraged to bring 5-10 family and friends to attend.

Our focus is always on providing personalized guidance to grow your artistry. Even if you attend as an audience member, you’ll learn a lot through the performances and feedback.

Your voice is unique. SHOWCASE is an opportunity for us to celebrate all voice types as we witness our similarities and differences, and grow into our own sound. Performers receive constructive feedback and singing insights from the mentors and the audience; however, we always ensure SHOWCASE is a safe space for performers of all ages and all levels. Use of profanity, bad attitudes, and negativity will be strictly prohibited. Bad actors will be banned from all future events.

We've seen it time and time again—singers from every genre and type can unlock inspiration points for their own musical growth.
