Event description

Description

AAHGS Nashville is pleased to have Ed Vinsang lead us in a session where we will all share information and stories about our own family history. That's right - this meeting is a chance for you to present, show, and tell us all something interesting you've learned in your family history and genealogy research.

Ed will facilitate the meeting and share examples of his extensive quest to document his own family history. A grassroots researcher for about 20 years, Ed has a natural passion for sharing the benefits, rewards, and excitement of conducting genealogy research. With professional training in accounting, Ed is well-trained to pay attention to fine details and leverages this skill for his family history research.

Join us as Ed shares some of his journey along the way - join us to tell us about your own journey too!

We will meet in the Civil Rights Room at the downtown branch of the Nashville Public Library. After the meeting, we welcome you to ask questions about your own family history, or spend time at the library doing research; AAHGS members and a collection of genealogy books will be available to aid you. Please RSVP to let us know you are coming. The meeting is free and open to the public and we look forward to seeing you there!
