Kennett Chamber of Commerce is proud to bring back the Show-Me Duck Showdown for a second year. 4 man teams are invited to register for this two day hunting challenge. Hunting teams will choose their own ground, and hunt for points. Cash prizes and trophies from FM Bank will be awarded to the 1st-3rd place winning teams: 1st Place $1000; 2nd Place $400; 3rd Place $300.
Teams will hunt in their desired location each morning of competition and return to the check in point (American legion) by 12 p.m. each day. Teams may cross state lines, but must be sure to follow the hunting laws of the state in which they hunt. Winner will be determined by point system with each breed and sex of animal being designated a score. Team totals will be tallied at the end of each competition day and a winner will be determined on Sunday at noon. A meal will be provided for all hunters on Sunday as scores are totaled. In the event of a score tie, winner will be determined in by average time in on each day of hunting.
4 person team entry fee $300. Registration includes competition, tshirt for each team member, and meal on Sunday afternoon. Registration Deadline December 8, 2016. All hunters must have appropriate hunting licenses and abide by all hunting regulations set forth by the Missouri Department of Conservation or the state in which they hunt. Up to date Missouri Hunting regulations can be found online at mdc.mo.gov. Missouri Department of Conservation officers will be on site during check in. Hunting teams are responsible for providing their own property location and hunting equipment. Teams needing assistance finding a hunting location can contact the Kennett Chamber of Commerce for a list of land owners and guides. Official tournament rules and scorecards will be distributed the week prior to the event.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Hunting licenses or permits as designated by the state in which the team hunts are required. There is no age restriction to enter this event.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The American Legion parking lot has plenty of room for trucks, boats, and trailers to park during check in.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, event organizers will have a list of registrants.
What is the refund policy?
This is a charity event. All registrations are considered a charitable donation. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Yes, team members may change prior to the event start; however, team members may not change once competition has begun. The same 4 members must check in at the end of each competition day.
