Established in the 1920's, Binh Tay Market is 17,000 square meters large and is built in an Asian architectural style. Binh Tay Market now has more than 2,300 vendors, selling over 30 categories of goods. It's a must visit for travelers, who are interested in exploring a local market and shopping activities of Vietnamese middle and working classes. The market is gradually becoming an attraction with 120,000 visits per year from travelers. Spending a few hours here gives you a chance to understand more of the history and culture.

SAIGON SQUARE

The strength of this premium market is clothing, fashion accessories and tech products (ie.chargers, smartphone cases, headphones, etc.) with decent quality and an affordable price. Products mostly come from Vietnamese manufacturers, some with limited quantity. Chances are you can treat yourself to a unique item with at a great price, just remember to bargain! With 3 centers located in District 1, Saigon Square has become a popular shopping place for many locals and travelers alike.

OLD APARTMENTS

While the monthly renting cost for main street location is still very pricey, an apartment is an alternative for local brands who cannot afford a centrally located venue. Many stores with different decor concepts gather in one apartment create a mini shopping mall, offering lots of opportunities in style choice and Instagram-worthy photos. You can easily find cool fashion boutiques from retro, vintage, sporty chic to minimalist style, prices also varied for every budget. Each weekend, there are many flea markets that pop up all over the city which locals are excited to visit. Each flea market follow an unique concept that aligns with their personal branding.
