Shea Halliburton Wright was a photographer who captured many precious moments of people throughout her community and across the United States. Not only was she a loving wife, mother, and friend to many, but she was also a talented artist who influenced countless people. In January of 2016, Shea was diagnosed with Small Cell Cervical Cancer. After 18 rounds of chemo and 40 doses of radiation, Shea received a clear scan, CANCER FREE, on July 6, 2016. With a clear scan and her unwavering love for the Lord, Shea was ready to jump back into work in the new home and studio that Josh built for their family. On August 25th, Shea passed away unexpectedly due to a tumor that grew with such speed that it was not on the PET scan that had been taken in the beginning of July.
After Shea's passing, a close family-friend began a trust fund for Shea's now one-year-old daughter, Eva. The Shea Halliburton Wright Memorial Trust Fund was created because of Shea's expressed concern for Eva's future. Many contributions have been made towards Eva's fund, and Shoot Like Shea is a Shea-inspired fundraiser for the community to further assist in Eva's future and Cervical cancer Rresearch.
In memory of Shea, this is a fundraiser to not only raise funds for Cervical cancer and Eva, but to also raise awareness for the lesser known Small Cell Cervical Cancer. Shoot Like Shea is a full day of studio mini sessions on a white background just as Shea always loved! Book your session today to contribute to this great cause.
