About Our Guides: Jeff Henke is a Texas-licensed Professional Geoscientist and dedicated Shoal Creek volunteer with more than 28 years of professional consulting experience involving soil and hydrogeologic characterizations, remedial action design and implementation, agency negotiation and litigation support. Stacy Coplin is a native Austinite who grew up playing in the local creeks, hiking through the roughs, and visiting the Nature and Science Center on school fieldtrips. She has been working at the Nature Center for a decade now in a variety of different rolls. Her current position is the exhibit specialist that she thoroughly enjoys. Her love for the outdoors led her to obtain a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Recreation and Business Administration from Western State Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado.
