Event description

Description

The 15th Annual shnit International Short Film Festival is a celebration of the world's best short films, taking place simultaneously in multiple cities, across five continents worldwide.

The Madlab Post is proud to present a curated selection of movies at exclusive weekend showings that bring Philadelphia communities together to share in the excitement of watching epic films. Best described as the "Olympics of Short Films," shnit embraces diversity, originality and exchange between creators and audiences from different cultures and backgrounds.

Attendees will also have a voice in deciding which film in this International Competition is the most impressive and moving. The audience vote influences which film will win the shnit CINEMAS Audience Award, worth $5,000 in prize money.

Shnit is also known for showcasing many award-winning live-action and animated films that qualify for an Oscar nomination.
