Shit-faced Shakespeare®: Romeo and Juliet

The smash-hit, internationally acclaimed, award-winning, multi sell-out fringe phenomenon is back at The Rockwell Theatre with their version of Romeo and Juliet. There is no love lost between the Capulet and Montague families and everyone in Verona knows it. Certainly the only way to mend centuries of bad blood is by having two forlorn teenagers from opposite households fall in love with each other, right? Nothing that a swig (or two) of the finest spirits can’t fix! Featuring Shakespeare’s most famous feuding family, cousins without a cause, and so many faux deaths it makes daytime TV look good.

Venue Information

Guests must be fully vaccinated and will require all guests to wear masks while with us during performances. You may remove your mask when actively sipping on that tasty beverage from the bar but mask back up once you’re done.

Thursdays are 18+ and Fridays and Saturdays are 21+

Parking can be tricky in Davis Square, especially with all of the new amazing patios, so be sure to leave yourself plenty of time to grab a spot.

There is a bar right inside the venue which opens at 6:15 and seating begins at 6:30. Come early, grab a drink, and relax a bit.

Ticket Sales: Online sales end one hour before the show begins and there may be limited tickets available at the door where we accept cash, credit cards and Venmo.

Fee and refund transparency: We have opted to include the ticketing fees into our ticket price so what you see is what you pay. We are a small theater and cannot afford to lose those fees however, so fees associated with cancellations will be paid by the ticket holder and must be requested more than one day prior to your attendance date. Transferring to another date often does not incur fees. A new date must be specified at the time of a transfer request.
