Please join us as we partner with EMBOLDIA and guest moderator Brooks Addington, CEO at TOST Beverages at the Wilburton Inn for an engaging discussion with Kelly Scannell, Owner- Reading Plus , Chris Patton Founder at Punchpass, and Executive Director of Launch VT, John Antonucci, as they discuss "Thinking Big".

Also featuring "Shameless Plugs", a no-holds-barred 2-minute opportunity for attendees to share current business concepts, garner interest for investment opportunities, seek collaboration or engage with potential employees.

About Kelly Scannell

Kelly leads a purpose-driven, heart-centered team that focuses on Customer & Cultural Success. She's the COO of Reading Plus, an EdTech company in Burlington, Vermont, whose web-based assessment and instructional technology develop students’ silent reading skills. She's an executive coach, serves on the board of LaunchVT, and invests in people and companies who work on things that matter.

She was fortunate to be on the senior leadership teams at high-profile e-commerce brands,, and in the San Francisco Bay Area during the pioneering dot-com era of 1995-2004.

About Chris Patton

Chris Patton is the founder and CEO of Punchpass, web software used by small businesses in over 60 countries to manage their group classes. Punchpass is a remote first company, with employees/contractors in Portland ME, Belgium, Croatia, and Australia. He lives with his family in Charlotte VT.'

About John Antonucci

John is the director of entrepreneurship at the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Executive Director of LaunchVT, an organization that provides resources and acceleration programs to entrepreneurs. He recently produced the Let’s Talk Progress speaker series about smart growth and economic development and serves on several committees working to build a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem.

In partnership with Qwerkal, he created the Connector, a statewide directory of entrepreneurship support organizations, and in partnership with Generator, he co-created JUMP/START, a business development program for makers. He is currently building a state-wide network of entrepreneurship programs called REACT and a state-wide Peer Network for founders of mid and growth stage startups.

Prior to joining LCRCC and LaunchVT John consulted for businesses and nonprofits and he was a co-founder of the Entrepreneurship Institute for the Governor's Institutes of Vermont. He has degrees in Economics, Sociology, and Education from the University of Vermont.

About Brooks Addington

Brooks is an executive manager with a demonstrated history of building and leading businesses across a variety of sectors both locally and internationally.

Brooks has a track record of building businesses from start-up or within large multinational corporations having been involved in all aspects of growth including sales, marketing, operations, brand development, social media, capital raising, distribution, production, and finance.

He has a proven ability to build teams and identify and execute strategies across industries.
