Shinzen May Retreat at CML: Expansion/Contraction Flow
Event Information
Description
Expansion/Contraction Flow
Learn to work with flow in terms of Expansion and Contraction. This is a way of incorporating the expansion-contraction model of consciousness into the framework of mindfulness practice. The expansion-contraction model of consciousness was originally developed within Zen training. In Unified Mindfulness, it involves analyzing the flow of experience into its basic components: expansion (yáng) and contraction (yīn).

This retreat will be streamed through our live-stream system. If you experience any technical difficulties, you can email info@centerformindfullearning.org. Because the live-stream shows meditators meditating, the video feed may appear to be still for long periods of time.
If you'd like help getting to the event we've set up a carpool page to make getting to Lowell as easy as possible.
We recommend that you donate $45 if you are reserving your tickets online, and $50 if you are paying in person for this offering.
Our next Shinzen retreat is scheduled for Saturday, July 22, 2017.
